Most frequently visited cave of Slovakia stretches in the Demänovská Valley, the National Nature Reserve, in the north of the Low Tatra Mountains. Tha cave was designated National Nature Monument and it offers healing speleoclimatic treatments, which were for the first time conducted in 1993.
The length of the cave route open to the public: A - 1145 m, B - 2150 m
The tour duration: A - 60 min., B - 100 min
History
The cave was discovered while the descend to the brook Demänovka in 1921. A part of the cave was made accessible to the public in 1924, and its upper parts in 1933. The length of the accessible passage is 1800 m. In years 1993 - 1998 healing speleoclimatic treatments were conducted in its Gravel Chambers.Contact
