LAND AREA 75,1340 ha
LOCALITY: The cadastre of a village Podtúreň, district of Liptovský Mikuláš. The game preserve can be found to the north off the village in altitude of 618 - 720 m, having mainly south and south – west exposition. The land spreads on limestone enclave covered with spruce – pine wood, surrounded by agricultural vegetation.
PURPOSE: Intensive breeding of cervine game with breed of native Carpathian sub – species, possibility of medium - wild stud presentation, intensive research, presentation of gamekeeping to the public, environmental education and possibility of training candidates in the field of gamekeeping – bionomics, age determination and breeding.
GOAL: To secure the reserve of gene pool of native cervine game acquired from Tatranská Javorina, The Eastern Beskydy and Poľana breedings. To ensure high quality trophies and healthy development of the population by intensive care and all year round feeding.
